Beginning as a corporate trainer in 1974, Rogena has spent
over 29 years giving presentations that inform, encourage, and entertain.
She has a BS in Business from the University of Detroit-Mercy and an MBA in Human Resources from
the University of Michigan. For 10 years, she conducted
training for Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Michigan, the Chrysler Corporation, and General Dynamics.
In 1983, she moved to Kentucky and taught courses in management
and communications at McKendree College, the University of Kentucky,
and Spalding University, as well as a graduate marketing class at Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University.
Rogena began giving
inspirational lectures and workshops across the country in 1987. Her audiences include
women's organizations, professional associations, healthcare groups, corporations, churches, and other
clients.
While a member of the National Speakers
Association, she served as the Kentucky chapter president. Her first
book, The Power
of Choice, was published in 1995. In addition, she publishes a
newsletter
and designs products that inspire people to follow their dreams.
Rogena now lives in north Georgia and continues to give
talks that make a meaningful difference.
