Beginning as a corporate trainer in 1974, Rogena has spent over 30 years giving presentations that inform, encourage, and entertain.

She has a BS in Business from the University of Detroit-Mercy, an MBA in Human Resources from the University of Michigan, and a PhD in Adult Education from Walden University.

For 10 years, she conducted training for Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Michigan, the Chrysler Corporation, and General Dynamics.

In 1983, she moved to Kentucky and taught undergrad and graduate courses in business administration at McKendree College, the University of Kentucky, and Spalding University, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Rogena began giving lectures and workshops on The Power of Choice in 1987. Her audiences include women's organizations, professional associations, healthcare groups, corporations, and churches across the country.

While a member of the National Speakers Association, she served as the Kentucky chapter president. Her first book, The Power of Choice, was published in 1995, and her second book, Ageless Living, is expected to be published in 2012.

Rogena now lives in north Georgia, teaches college classes online, and has created a second program on Ageless Living based on her doctoral research. Her workshops and keynotes wake people up to the power they have to create the lives they most want to live. With a delivery style that is interactive and engaging, she builds a heart-to-heart connection with people and energizes every event.
